| Photography and filming in the Luther Memorials Foundation’s museums |
|
Photography and filming are generally permitted in the Luther Memorials Foundation’s museums, but they require the permission of the foundation’s press office. This does not apply to material gathered for purposes of news coverage.
You may download an application form for permission to photograph or film below. Depending on the intended use, permission to photograph or film may be subject to fees. We would also like to remind you that the normal activity of our museums is to be disturbed as little as possible through photography and filming. Due consideration is to be shown to visitors, tour groups, and the historical interiors of our museums. In special cases and subject to reimbursement for additional costs, it may be possible to photograph or film while the museum is closed. The majority of the museums’ objects are originals and extremely light sensitive. Photography and filming should therefore be carried out with the least amount of lighting possible – and preferably with reduced infrared exposure. If you are interested in taking close-ups of individual objects, we kindly request that you obtain permissions from the press office well in advance. We would like to thank you for your cooperation and look forward to working together. Application form for photography and filming (PDF; available only in German) |
