The Luther Memorials Foundation’s research programme emphasises the analysis of the Reformation's visual influence and the histories of the foundation’s four museums as examples of Luther’s historical reception. Our scholarly activities include research projects, workshops, and publications.
The foundation is also permanently engaged in cataloguing its extensive collections. We organise major academic conventions as well as workshops and international summer school courses for younger historians of the Reformation. In addition, the foundation organises discussion groups on regional themes as well as workshops devoted to presenting Luther and the Reformation to a broader public.
